Neeta A. Bidwai
Ms. Bidwai is the Senior Policy Advisor to Senator Mark R. Warner (D-VA). She is responsible for policy relating to telecommunications, technology, competitiveness, and trade. In that capacity, she has worked on spectrum management policy, broadband deployment, incentive auctions, and efforts to sustain long-term innovation and U.S. competitiveness. She also supports the Senator’s work as a member of the Senate Commerce Committee.
She previously served as Legislative Director to U.S. Rep. Jim Matheson (D-UT), a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the House Science Committee, where she was responsible for policy issues relating to energy, technology, trade, and financial services. She also managed the Blue Dog Energy Task Force while Matheson was its Chairman.
Ms. Bidwai holds a B.A. in Public Policy Studies from Duke University.
