# Natalie Campbell
**Senior Director, North American Government and Regulatory Affairs**

Natalie Campbell is Senior Director, North American Government and Regulatory Affairs at the Internet Society. She leads policy advocacy and works with communities to improve Internet access and make sure people can have safe, private, and secure experiences online. 

Natalie helps policymakers understand how legislative proposals and technology trends will impact the Internet. She helped develop the Internet Impact Assessment Toolkit and her expertise has been featured by publications including Globe and Mail, CBC, Radio-Canada, Hill Times, Wire Report, and CyberScoop. She frequently briefs policymakers around the world on Internet policy issues and speaks at events including Digital Access Day, State of the Net, the Internet Governance Forum, and the Indigenous Connectivity Summit. 

Prior to joining the Internet Society, Natalie was founder of Campbell Communications, where she worked with organizations and Indigenous communities to promote community-led Internet access solutions. She previously worked at the Canadian Internet Registration Authority, where she helped establish the Canadian Internet Forum. Natalie holds a Global Professional Master of Laws with a concentration in innovation, law, and technology from the University of Toronto. She is based near Ottawa, Ontario.
