Jeneanne Rae is an award-winning expert in Innovation, Customer Experience (CX) and Design Strategy with a strong track record of helping her clients become more human, more productive, and more competitive in the markets they serve.She advises entities to embrace human-centered design as an innovation strategy that can produce outsized returns and decreased risk to investors.Ms. Rae provides new management considerations around the roles of brand, data science and employee experience as key elements of CX design.She has a cross industry perspective that includes large corporate, non-profit, and government entities.

Ms. Rae was most recently a Specialist Executive with Deloitte Digital, where she grew the revenue and organizational capabilities of its Customer Strategy and Applied Design consulting practice for the federal government. In the role Jeneanne served senior executives in numerous federal and state agencies including GSA, VA, CFPB, Ginnie Mae, SSA , Treasury’s Bureau of Fiscal Service and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Prior to bringing her knowledge of commercial best practices to Deloitte, Ms. Rae founded and led two boutique innovation strategy consulting firms both serving a substantial list of Fortune 100 corporations.In this work Ms. Rae pioneered the practice of service innovation especially in companies whose brands were linked to industrial, financial and consumer products.She has penned dozens of articles on related topics for national business publications including Bloomberg Business Week, Fast Company, and the Harvard Business Review.

Prior to these roles Ms. Rae was the first woman to be named to the Executive Management team of Silicon Valley innovation powerhouse, IDEO, where she spent seven years working on its growth strategies, managing several of its largest accounts, and promoting a stronger approach to innovation strategy by integrating more business disciplines.Herdeep understanding and ability to articulate the value that design can bring to a myriad of business functions help lay the groundwork for IDEO’s subsequent launch into business strategy consulting.

Ms. Rae holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Marketing and Finance from the University of Virginia.
