Dario Rea is director of Corporate Research & Innovation at IMA Industria Macchine Automatiche S.p.A. since February 2015. He has the responsibility to test and managing new technologies for future machines and services development. He is responsible to create a network of collaborations with research and competences center.
Dario leads the IMA DIGITAL’s steering committee working to implement digital transformation in IMA organization. Main topics of his activity are Smart Machines that means work on IIoT, Data organization, Analitycs, Digital Twin; and on the use of Industrial Robotics, mainly cobot, combined with manufacturing system to reduce repetitive and heavy tasks.
He has more than 25 PTC patents in industrial field concerning new schematic and solution of complex function of packaging machines.
