Chad Smith
Chad A. Smith is a Ph.D. student in the Public Policy doctoral program at George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government where he focuses on science, technology, and innovation policy and entrepreneurship, growth, and public policy. Smith earned an M.A. in Global Environmental Policy from American University’s School of International Service and an M.A. in Political Science from George Mason University’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences. He also served as a DOE Scholar at the U.S. Department of Energy.
Smith was a research fellow with ITIF in the summer of 2021 and works with Professor Hart as a graduate research assistant during the 2021-2022 academic year.
