Anke Hellwig
Dr. Hellwig has served as senior manager at Fraunhofer Headquarters since 1997. She advises and accompanies transatlantic projects of varying scope and subject matter. As program manager she initiated Fraunhofer`s transatlantic fellowship program and the Fraunhofer Bessel Research Award; the latter is awarded by Fraunhofer and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation to distinguished scientists and scholars in order to strengthen international research cooperation.
A materials scientist by training, she has published a number of papers on solid state phase transformations at high temperatures. She received her M.B.A. from the NIMBAS Graduate School of Management in 2004.
