Angel Pizarro

Angel Pizarro is a Technical Business Development Manager on the Scientific and Research Computing team at Amazon Web Services. In this role, he oversees the global genomics and life science efforts from AWS. He has a broad background in bioinformatics and high-throughput scientific computing, both from a research and development standpoint, and as a operations and service provider of computational resources for biomedical research scientists. Prior to joining AWS, Angel was Director of Bioinformatics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
