Andrew Price
Andrew is the Head of the UK’s Science and Innovation Network in the USA, and Regional Manager for the Americas. In the US, Andrew leads a team of 14 science and innovation officers located in British Consulates in major cities. Andrew also oversees dedicated science and innovation teams in Canada and Latin America (Brazil, Chile and Argentina). Prior to joining the British Embassy, Andrew helped to establish a dedicated, cross-Government unit to help the UK education sector internationalise and pursue partnerships overseas. Andrew’s policy experience in the UK Government involved roles in Her Majesty’s Treasury, the Department for Education and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy looking at how to increase domestic productivity through interventions to support entrepreneurship, access to capital for small firms, apprenticeships and vocational education. Prior to joining the UK civil service, Andrew was a technology consultant at Oracle Corporation in the UK. Andrew has a BSc in International Business and French from the University of Warwick.
