Amy Schatz is vice president of media affairs at USTelecom. Previously, she served as deputy tech editor at Politico. Schatz has more than 15 years of experience as a reporter, blogger and editor. She started her career with the St. Petersburg (Fla.) Times, and served as technology reporter for the Austin American-Statesman before moving to The Wall Street Journal where she covered telecom and tech policy for 10 years. She has an MBA from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University.
