Event Summary
Congress is currently considering several new free trade agreements with Peru, Panama, Colombia and Korea. This ITIF Forum featured commentary from a range of perspectives about the importance of these critical trade agreements in advancing American prosperity through increased economic integration.
The event featured remarks from Marc Lautenbach, General Manager, IBM Americas and Jamie Estrada, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Manufacturing at the U.S. Department of Commerce. John Zogby, pollster and president of Zogby International, presented findings from his recent survey of American attitudes towards globalization.
