Coleman Bazelon is an economist with The Brattle Group, a global consultancy. He is an expert in regulation and strategy in the wireless, wireline, and video sectors, and has consulted and testified in numerous telecommunications matters, ranging from wireless license auctions, spectrum management, and competition policy, to patent infringement, wireless reselling, and broadband deployment. He frequently advises regulatory and legislative bodies, including the U.S. Federal Communications Commission and the U.S. Congress.

Prior to joining Brattle, Dr. Bazelon was an analyst at the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), where his responsibilities included closely following all FCC spectrum license auctions. He was also responsible for analyzing the interactions between FCC spectrum license auctions and the market for wireless services. Dr. Bazelon has spoken extensively on telecommunications topics in the press and at conferences around the world.
