Event Summary

As part of Data Innovation Day, ITIF will host a panel discussion highlighting interesting examples of how data innovation is transforming different sectors of the economy. Panelists will discuss the technologies behind the current era of big data, notable uses of data innovation in action, and opportunities to better leverage data in industries such as health care, energy, finance, and transportation. Following the panel discussion, attendees will be able to see a number of demos of data analytics in different industries.

The panel discussion will begin at noon and the demos will immediately follow the panel and begin at 1:30 PM. Lunch will be provided. Demos will be provided from CATT Lab at University of Maryland, Cloudant, Elder Research, IBM, Opower, Teradata and Zoomdata.
