Communications technology that intimidated many of us just a few years ago is now a part of everyday life.  Think of the evolution of the cell phone in your pocket.  In addition to changing our daily lives, the transformation in digital communications also raises important economic, public policy and societal questions.  Join the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation and the Time Warner Cable Research Program on Digital Communication for a program featuring some of today’s leading thinkers discussing the recent developments that are shaping the future of digital communications.  Five authors will present their essays and discuss their perspectives on issues ranging from broadband capacity to changes in our civic life.
